I feel special now
This AM they took all my details and entered them into a tablet, the IT kind not a pill, whether that goes directly to some central database or is uploaded at the end of the day I don’t knowYeah that makes sense to me as well mate, that they had my name on a sheet of paper and then crossed me off as attending to get my booster.
They never asked for my card, but they knew all my details when looking on the NHS system. No I didn't get one either mate. I went in, gave my details and got jabbed. Didn't get given a new card or anything.
Ha ha thanks its been a long time since anyone has told me I’m special Mac , I feel brand new .You are special Harry and don't let anyone tell you any different.
Now feel free to go into the Benitez thread and boo him for no reason other than it feels good to do so on a Saturday evening![]()
Don’t think so but will tag in @RAFUH as she is the expert.Do you know what's in Paxlovid LL? Anything that's been used for other things previously?

It is used in combo with another drug that apparently in some HIV treatments.
Paxlovid acts by inhibiting an enzyme that’s needed to process some viral proteins into their final, functional form. But the drug is a combination of an antiviral and another drug, called ritonavir, which helps to prevent enzymes in the liver from breaking down the antiviral before it has a chance to disable the coronavirus. Ritonavir, a component of some HIV treatment cocktails, can affect how some other medications are metabolized by the body. A wide range of drugs should not be given with it, including some that are commonly used to treat heart conditions, suppress the immune system and reduce pain.![]()
COVID antiviral pills: what scientists still want to know
Drugs such as molnupiravir and Paxlovid could change the course of the pandemic if clinical trial results hold up in the real world.www.nature.com
You will rest a lot more easy if you do, maybe won’t regret not seeing all the loved ones who’s stood by over the years for the last few Christmas’s either. Thanks for the update Dr Potato with your in depth knowledge of Omicron
I can rest much easier this evening for that input and I'll be sure to send an email to all the scientists around the world to say "knock it on the head lads, Charlie Potato says there's nothing to worry about so put that micro biology set away and get yourselves down the pub"
Nanny state mate hope you told them to stick it and went on that march today resistThey never asked for my card, but they knew all my details when looking on the NHS system.
Same as you who has non and making decisions based of media scientist, I’ve a masters by the way but whatever. If you had any qualifications to show your ability to determine how dangerous this varient is or isn't, I might say you had a point. But since you don't, I'll place my trust in people who know what they're talking about.

I seen all mine and so did everyone I know and not one regretted it.Well Charlie, it probably wasn't such a bad thing I didn't see the majority of my loved ones last year as I would have given them all a nasty dose of Covid
Thanks for the advice though![]()
