My cousin has it and so does his wife. I'm deeply concerned. For all of us in fact, including everybody who posts on this forum.
We may get to a stage where people have to be forcibly restricted in their movements. However and this is why I keep banging the drum of individual responsibility. It doesn't have to be that way.
Honestly calling people stupid or advocating shooting people is vile. The vast majority of folks may be uniformed, scared or trying to figure out how they are going to pay the bills if they lose their job. That's the reality.
One last thing, who's going to do the shooting. Are you?
First, rubber bullets tbh.
Second, there's no way people are uninformed at this point about this, beyond literal hermits.
Third, scared people follow advice that could save their lives - they don't go on the lash in town after being told the pubs are shutting due to a literal life-threatening contagious disease, nor do they go traipsing off to Bala for a weekend break with thousands of other amidst a pandemic.
I appreciate that we
should be advocating personal responsibility - but the sad reality is that a massive portion of this population take that responsibility too literally; as in they only care about themselves.
To break the back of this thing, people need to stay home. If the threat of getting shot and arrested is what it takes to do it for 4-6 weeks, then so be it.
