Well you’ve completely missed the point. People going through treatment for cancer example still need to go to the shops. They might not have a support network around them to help out. And if you are going through treatment for cancer you can’t have the vaccine. But some pissy little idiot won’t wear a mask in the shops because of a mandate.
That is such a small amount of people though in regards to the entire population. The same any virus applies there.
We have never had any of this in place to protect them before , despite the same risks being there.
So realistically the existing point still stands , we are putting measures in place to protect either a very small minority of the population (and therefore should wear masks from now on by law), or we are implementing them when the vast majority of the population , 50 million plus , do not need that level of protection even more.
Because even if they announce its 50% more transmissible , if it only provides mild symptoms and everyone is jabbed up, what difference does that make?
Additionally , wearing a mask in Asda is extremely important but not in a nightclub? I just went to an event recently which had thousands of people under one roof, that is fine to do but not the bus?
It's ridiculous , there is no logic behind it. Which makes it worse because they should have announced measures for the winter on July 19th as common sense preventative. Doing it now based on all the information out there is , well ridicuous.
