Im not sure piece of trash is fair really.

I don’t agree with Rogan’s opinion on the pandemic, but I also think people need to realise he’s a regular human who happens to have a huge audience. He doesn’t have an agenda to spread misinformation, he’s not Fox News.
Any intelligent individual with even a hint of a conscience should feel some sort of greater responsibility specifically because of that massive audience. Instead, Rogan couches misinformation and conspiracy theories on a daily basis as “just asking questions”. But, just like all the other anti-vaxx, “plandemic” fools, he went running to the very same doctors he had spent months trying to vilify and discredit the moment he got sick.

They are going to do everything possible* to try and get the requirement for privately funded PCR tests dropped for those returning on holiday as well.

* obviously not everything possible - they could for instance drop the requirement for people to pay for it themselves, and instead offer it with the rest of the tests given by the NHS - this would bump up compliance quite a bit and prevent the rampant gouging we have seen

Terrible decision.

Missed opportunity to lock some of the anti vaccination scum out of the society they wish to destroy.

If that was to be the only effect of vaccine passports, I'd be all for it.

But it isn't. It would destroy these businesses because confidence would be hit amongst everyone and there'd be a sizeable amount of people who just wouldn't be arsed with all the kerfuffle.

And at the same time it'd be next to impossible to enforce and businesses wouldn't even try anyway.

It was all about insurance really, in terms of the hospitality sector.

Companies simply wouldn't insure businesses who refused to implement it.

But then again, it's the implementation that would have been the issue.

The one upside to 'scrapping' it after announcing it, would be if it's encouraged people who wouldn't have done to go and get their vaccines. If that's happened then no damage done. I don't know if it has, though.

No hospital figures reported for today, last Sunday’s late revealed total was 21

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 56 deaths were announced today, down 100 on yesterday and down 12 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 138.71

For the 60 day cut off, 66 deaths were announced today, down 111 on yesterday and down 15 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 157.14

A week since I first went down with Covid symptoms and finally feel half normal. Just left with a chesty cough but otherwise back to about 80%.

Definitely didn't think it would be like that after two vaccines. I thought I was reasonably careful before without going nuts but had certainly got a bit lapse with wearing masks in shops etc. It's certainly shaken my take on it all.

Didnt you pick up from your lad after he went to a festival, or was that someone else?
