I have mused this as well. Short of asking your GP surgery to print you your vaccine record, I dont think there is. The vax cards we all have dont have your name on them.

And I dont think that venues are going to have access to the NHS database, for obvious reasons.

I guess that they’re thinking most people who go to clubs aren’t people who don’t own smartphones

but they’ll be introducing this in other places soon enough - holidays especially

Said all large events I think. You'll get pensioners at all sorts of events.

Vallance stating that 60% of people in hospital have been fully vaccinated. Based on those figures I could be persuaded to accept future restrictions if it gives time for winter boosters, as clearly there will be a lot of people who need added protection.

After this year concludes any serious measures would be a sign of complete failure.

The NHS app requires a decent smartphone.

The app needs a good update anyway, both my jabs are listed on there under my vaccinations and having had covid on test results however when I click get covid pass it says not eligible. Unless mines just glitched

If that 60% are largely in their 70+ then thats sadly was always likely to happen you just hope the vaccines prevent death in the majority of those cases.

What needs to happen is that other 40% need vaccinating ASAP. Would instantly nearly half all hospitalizations if the majority are likely young and only end up with mild illness.
