Found this quite an amazing chart - 30 year lag between measures re smoking being reflected in mortality
Honestly mate I don't know how you did it. I'm praying that my streak keeps on going but I am being sensible in that if I feel ill, I'm just not doing stuff like go to the gym, going the shops. Literally get on my bike and p*** off to the middle of nowhere to get out of the house. The 10 days I had to isolate were a living hell and im somebody that LOVES staying in.
Dont smoke, dont drink, dont eat butter, never fry food, never eat chocolate.
Smokers die younger and put less strain on the health services, change my mind.
Some absolutely brilliant writing (and acting) in that series.Made my point better than I ever could.

Assume there will be some legal challenges to this
Watch LLs video, as they say, smokers die young for everybody else.Disease costs more than health maintenance, even for old people, and the rate of disease among smokers is very high.

If only they could find ways to tax mental health.Sorry, I don't watch TV. But smoking is a risk factor in almost every other disease. Suicide though... that saves tons of money. If we're really into saving costs/balancing the NHS budget, we should do something forward thinking with the mental health initiatives.
