Went to a concert last night, which was the first time in flipping ages. Takes a bit of practice being around people again. The central line tube to get there especially as it was surprisingly busy (I say that, it was at 5.30 so it shouldn't be, but the City has been a ghost town for the last year), and it was standing room only in the carriage with perhaps 50% not wearing a mask (despite the carriage being plastered with signs telling us to). You could certainly imagine how someone of an anxious disposition would be put off.
I went to Wembley it was much the same, not busy this morning Queensway to St.Pauls to Euston but still a few without masks

If I can't sing out loud without a barrier on my face what's the point? You already are putting yourself at risk with being among such a crowd indoor, (you know it) so I also wouldn't wear a mask, kills all the gig mood and makes you feel alert....
Why would you sing , are you in a band ?

Hospitalisations are starting to look a little concerning.. Will deaths increase in line in the next 10 days? We shall see.
Important to remember that at it's worst, we were experiencing 4,000 admissions each day. At the moment we are looking at 350 per day, on course to rise to somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 if we do get up to 100,000 cases per day. Many of these admissions will be much less severe than in previous waves too.

So I agree it is concerning, but we have great confidence in where it'll end up. Still not nice to consider how many more will get ill and die of this thing though.

Also, data has context which isn’t been looked into. Many of these will be young people who have a short stay, not on a ventilator spending a long time there.

No problem our NHS and Social care can cope, as they did through the height of pandemic, just ignore the even longer waiting list. It's all fine. Honestly!

Could you give me your bank details please?

Honestly, I believe they’re heavy rock/ metal ?. I’m 61 next week and never liked that when I was younger ( other than Wishbone Ash and Thin Lizzy if they count). Anyway, off topic but get back to the gigs when you can , there’s nothing better. I’m off to the oldies thread.
You’re 60. Most of the members of Rammstein will be 60.
