In context, circa 0.01% of deaths today were covid related. Lob in a dose of vax/unvax data, plus age/underlying conditions, and here we are.

Still extremely low the death figures. Nothing in the numbers to stop the next step.

Will be interesting to see how many people wear masks. As a double vaccinated person I doubt I would.

Undoubtedly many will, but at the same time, I just hope it doesn’t become some kind of weird badge of honour - “ you’re a murderer, I’m not “

It’s down to the individual simple as that.

Although I do think people that wear a mask, when driving by themselves need to get a grip.

In total honesty I’ve wore a mask because Its been mandated, once i’m not required to I won’t . It shouldn’t need stating but I obviously have no issue with anyone continuing to wear one but if i’m not required or unless something changes I’ve no intention of doing so . Hopefully that won’t make me a murderer.

I think, going forward, that stuff like masks and SD will become a seasonal thing. Lets face it, neither are that big a deal, so adopting them when the flu and almost inevitably, covid season comes along, I dont think there will be a big kick back at either.

Been all for mask wearing during this pandemic and have been annoyed at people unable to do it in shops if only to put other people at ease. Have to agree though people wearing masks in a car by themselves must be going to bed in them and need to relax a bit.

Could just be that they’ve forgotten to take it off. The few times I have had to wear one for a while I quite quickly forget about it. Quite often get out of a cab or out of the tube and only realise I’ve still got it on when I want a cigarette

Was quite nice for keeping warm in the Winter TBF!

I don’t think it will. Here in the US, the inverse was definitely true back during the winter when the pandemic was at its worst. People who refused to wear masks certainly got more than a few dirty looks, even in this ultra-conservative Trump stronghold. However, once the vaccine numbers started to increase and the masks rules were relaxed, I don’t know of anybody, even those who had been very vigilant about COVID, who hasn’t been pretty glad to return to life without them.
