Wonder if guidance of use of AZ in under 30 will be reconsidered.

Tbf it is a nuanced argument to make “your risk with this vaccine is x%, depending on the prevalence/severity of the variant in your community your risk from Covid, y%, varies but when y is greater than x get the AZ” but you’d have hoped for at least a stab at conveying it.They shot themselves in the foot really, as to suddenly turn around to under 30's and say "We know we said you should probably have the other one, but this is all we have so deal with it" won't exactly inspire confidence. Shame.
Completely agree. Sadly I think the horse bolted as soon as the JCVI communicated that change in policy. It's extremely hard to make quite a simplistic argument for not doing something (which I understand in PR terms), only to try and row back on that with the use of probabilities and nuance. Just won't wash.Tbf it is a nuanced argument to make “your risk with this vaccine is x%, depending on the prevalence/severity of the variant in your community your risk from Covid, y%, varies but when y is greater than x get the AZ” but you’d have hoped for at least a stab at conveying it.
Last I read. 3 in Burnley in hospital that had it that were fully vaxxed, but all three had huge underlying health problems...So how many people exactly who are fully vaxed are getting it, dying? If it's like twenty percent surely there's nothing more we can do

Tomorrows figure will be interesting to see..3 deaths today
Only 35 days, worry about it if that annoying toff moves the damn goalposts again. This cannot keep on going on until like Christmas for example.

Was glad here in the US decided to just go with a warning label on the JNJ - means more flexibility at local level health departments for changing circumstance/risk factors, especially as that particular vaccine is great for hard to reach vulnerable groups.Completely agree. Lockdown protests outside Downing Street.
Bit of mixed messaging in terms of what they’re protesting about from the vids I’ve seen.
Banners include “save our children”, “jabs are gene therapy”, “save hospitality”, “no vaxx passes”, another one about Bill Gates.
Also in attendance is that Lawrence Fox bellend, and a guy being interviewed saying ‘we all just watched a man’s heart stop on a football pitch, and no-one wants to admit what’s happening’.

Loon.
1. He hadnt had a jab.
and,
2. His heart didnt stop. It actually did the opposite, and went into a massive, fast, and irregular beat. The result is the same, as in, it doesnt work properly/at all, but the cpt and defib was to rugularise the normal beating action.
I know that mate. Just relaying the scene.
Remarkable how quick that conspiracy went around, and is now being repeated by someone, who was clearly emotional and believed it, and there’s nothing you could tell him that would change his mind, as it would all be part of the cover up.
