But Europe doesn't have the Indian variant yet which is what the discussion you joined was about. If it does reach there it's the vaccine that's going to beat it.Well whatever the situation is, it seems to be largely working. Obviously I follow the Czech situation quite closely, and after a chaotic winter/spring, they recorded 0 deaths this week and I think people in their 20s and 30s are getting the first dose now.
I should add that they're also opening up international travel a lot quicker than we are. They've struck bilateral agreements with most neighbouring countries, including Germany and Poland.
Indeed. While I can understand restricting travel from red countries, doing so from other places seems to be purely down to politics rather than science.

That doesn't constitute the Indian variant being an issue on the continentThis was from April

I'm just saying it was detected a long time ago but hasn't spread. I dare say travel to/from India is much less on mainland Europe than it is here, which perhaps helps to explain that. That doesn't constitute the Indian variant being an issue on the continent

It wouldn't surprise me if they had a cure (or major helping drugs) for cancer already, but they make more money from the treatment than the cure!Big Pharma has a lot of blood on its hands when it comes to AIDS/HIV as do Al Gore, Bill Clinton and George Bush. There are a lot of parallels with the current covid vaccine situation.
These drugs can be made cheaply and help the World. But Pharma stands in the way.

What I don't get is why are scientists dicking around with these things in labs? The US/China will have their fingers jointly in this make no mistake.
If the world government's dont stand up and put an end to this its only a matter of time before the next one finds its way out and wreaks havoc on the world.
