Yeah, the vaccines really are the silver bullet we all hoped, so far.If that rise in figures starts to translate into hospital admissions and deaths, that`s the time to worry.
Stuff I`m reading, is saying that the younger people aren`t getting it too bad and most of the ones in hosy, are people who could`ve / should`ve been vaccinated.

Yeah the maps really flag up the problem areasNot good really. This Indian variant seems to be a real stinker. If you go onto the UK map that's where nearly all these increases seem to be coming from. Our vaccines seem to be almost as effective against it so hopefully we won't see it spread much outside the areas already heavily infected.
Feel for the people living in those areas though. The vaccinations can't come soon enough for me. If I was under 30 and living in Bolton I'd take the AZ tomorrow if I could.
Fully vaxed looks good. The tricky area is 1 dose - seems mounting evidence that, whilst it still provides some protection, for the tougher variants the second dose is very helpfulI am prepared to bet 50p that there is a very strong correlation between vaxed/non vaxed admissions. As in, circa 80 to 90% will be unvaxed.
You defo cant have the jab if you have the rona.I would love to know, not just in Bolton but in all the area's that the Indian virus has taken hold, just how many of those infected and those hospitalised have been offered the vaccine and not taken it.
Am I correct in saying that you cannot have the vaccine if you are currently suffering from covid.? It was a question we were asked before getting our second jab.
People have had enough mate and just want to start living again, there`s nothing wrong with that.
We can`t stay in this limbo of restrictions forever, plus the goal posts seem to have moved from protecting the elderly and vulnerable and taking the pressure off the NHS, ( which has been done ) to the situation where we now find ourselves in, were the majority of people catching it are people who`ve chosen not to have the vaccine and everyone else would appear to be about to be penalised.
Tricky decision if you are undergoing cancer treatment as cancer puts you at higher risk of bad outcomes yet vaccines likely to be less effective anyway. You defo cant have the jab if you have the rona.
Also my wife went to get a vaccine and was refused due to medication she was taking for an ear infection, so there are lots of reasons why people havent had the vaccine.
