Pretty sure the BBC and plenty of others have reported that there has been no found drop off in the efifacy of the vaccines against the Indian variant.

There was always a concern, but it required testing, and data to prove either way - which is the entire point that certain people seem intent on ignoring.

Pagel is a disgrace. What I don't understand is they're now talking about the slight reduction in efficacy although they never mention that vaccinated people at worse basically get a cold or nothing if they catch covid.

Some of these scientists are getting to the point of being dangerous now. They are scaring people when statistically the risk is almost nothing if you are double vaccinated.

Because it's enjoyable to do so? No one "needs" to go to the pub or out for a meal. No one "needs" to go watch the footie or go to the theatre. In a very basic sense we had all we "need" even when largely confined to our homes.

There are parts of the island that aren't to do with clubbing that are quite boho and peaceful. We went there once and stayed on an eco-farm and didn't encounter a clubber once.

I’m at a loss as to why anyone needs to holiday abroad this year.....

Because thousands of people ( me being one of them ) have had last years holiday carried over to this year.

As it stands at the moment with the traffic light bollox, if you " choose " not go to an amber listed country, the holiday company and airline, deem that you have wilfully decided not to travel, when you could have and you lose everything.

The simple solution to all this would be to have no amber listed countries at all and keep it quite simply to red and green.

In a nutshell, all those people have the choice of losing the lot ( thousands ) or going on holiday abroad and becoming the new public enemy number 1.

I`ve been all over Ibiza and once you get away from the hell of San Antonio, it`s a stunningly beautiful island and you can fully understand why so many of the super rich live there.

Majorca and Mallorca are the same.

Great for cycling too.
