"Nothing to see here, you're still all going to die. Vaccines aren't real. WHY ARE YOU OUTSIDE."

I didnt even read it.

But I honestly have no idea which way any paper leans, I just know I don't trust any of them.

But this is SAGE, a source you trust.
Since they were humiliated by the scientific community for being silent on the murderer's conduct in March / April last year they have got their act together.

Independent SAGE made sure of that.

Why wouldn't we see a lockdown if lots of people are being hospitalised and many are dying from Covid19 in a surge of infections? I mean, these events are openly talked about by the scientific community as real possibilities. Many even expect that to happen.

The vaccines will hopefully makes sure those deaths are kept way down below what we've seen so far in surges. However, they will be disruptive to all our lives. So, again, I ask why wouldn't we see a lockdown? The odds must be strongly in favour of it.

We won't see another lockdown because the number of deaths attributed to covid-19 will be reduced to a level deemed acceptable across society.

The balance of living life in favour of an acceptable number of deaths will ensure that.

We will see. I hope you're right.

I'll bet there's not another lock down ever again..

Thats kinda it mate. Its why the windows between dates were the 5 weeks, (data data data), to double check they outcome they modelled. Obvs, I have no idea of what they did input, but I would hazard a guess that it was exactly what they/we are doing. Slippage of anything leads to a reassessment. (Remember the "lumpy" vax supply line for April? Didnt happen, but might have).

And unexpected results would lead to a different model, hence the live tests in Liverpool; its all part of a slow, cautious, modelled, return.

I thought we did have a lumpy vax supply in April, which is why they were giving out way less first doses?
