“SAGE found there had been just 226 outbreaks in pubs and restaurants in England since the pandemic began, despite the sector being heavily penalised throughout the Government's Covid response.”

I think this puts that particular threat to bed......

First we had a scientific declaration that Britain was no longer in a pandemic.
Then we had a sanctioned club night in the city centre.
Then we had scientists saying that 30 minute tests are the way forward to easing social distancing and getting our life back to normal.

AND NOW we find out, that the swill and muck sellers aren`t to blame for the holocaust after all.

Can someone check on Dave, he may be in need of medical assistance lol

Hospital figures - 19 deaths were announced today, up 2 on yesterday and down 6 on last Friday. 14 deaths were in English hospitals, up 1 on yesterday and down 5 on last week. The 7 day rolling average falls to 18.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 15 deaths were announced today, down 7 on yesterday and down 25 on last Friday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 18.86

For the 60 day cut off, 50 deaths were announced today, up 18 on yesterday and down 29 on last Friday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 43.71

Its a controlled test event mate. The 6.00pm on an a Friday evening might show that.
...and Liverpool just HAS to be the location for all these test events.

I'm sure the rest of the country are thinking "Yes, go on Liverpool!!! Do the testing for us all...you 'kin mugs".

Sad to say...and I never thought I'd say it: Liverpool = scab city.

Run by corrupt spivs for central government and populated more and more by dissolute nobhheads who couldn't give a flying one for anyone but themselves.

Maybe that's what the Kopites mean when they say "Scouse not English".

I think test events have been all over the country

Around 22million people are living in areas across the UK where there have been no coronavirus deaths so far in April, official figures revealed today.

Data from the Government's Covid dashboard suggests the threat of the virus has almost been eradicated in a third of the country, despite everyone still being subjected to harsh lockdown restrictions.

It marks a seismic shift from the UK's dire situation in January at the height of the second wave, when fewer than 50,000 Britons were in places with zero coronavirus victims during that month.

Analysis by BBC News shows some areas have gone even longer than a month without reporting a Covid death — Plymouth last recorded one 57 days ago and Oxford and Maidstone, in Kent, have gone two months.

The statistics, which go up to April 29, shows fewer than 600 deaths within 28 days of a positive test have been reported this month, compared with more than 30,000 throughout the same period in January.

So no deaths in Kent for 2 months, despite it being an area in which a VOC* was first spotted.

*VOC = Bellend speak for "OMG WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE"

Oh, look what you missed out of your story....

"But the number of clusters rose to 343 when fast food outlets, cafes, bars and other eateries were included, according to the data up to February.
Writing in the paper, submitted to ministers at some point in the last two months, SAGE said: 'Overall, data suggest that the hospitality sector, compared to leisure and retail sectors seems to be associated with greater risk of transmission...Experts say closing hospitality was essential to prevent indoor mixing - the biggest driver of Covid spread. They highlight the number of outbreaks in the sector may be artificially low because venues have been shut for months.
"

Why spoil a good story with the truth, eh?

Kool Aid?

Its called data Dave.

But I suppose that's all you have now, the ability to call all data kool aid.

You have been proper mugged off by your virus here, sad to see.
Stay safe. Dont listen to Johnson's little helpers on here. They dont give a flying one about you and yours. They just want businesses open.

Yould be absolutley amazed the lengths that these trolls go to get the message over.

I didn't miss anything out of the story, only a moron wouldn't realise that the cases are low due to them being shut a lot.
