How is everyone feeling about tomorrow in the U.K.?

Will you be going to the pub, Bite to eat or hitting the shops - or will you be a bit more cautious?

Getting a haircut is the thing I am looking forward to. Doubt I will go until Saturday or the following Saturday, surely will be busy at first.

I'm working tomorrow eve, and have a training session to fit in on the bike before our game.

But I'm off to the pub on Tuesday, to see a mate who's up from London who I haven't seen in well over a year now. We've had people round at ours - in the garden - this weekend, got the tv set up in the kitchen so we could watch the rugby.

I'm off to a beer garden with five mates on Saturday, and we're booked for two successive 2 hour slots 5pm - 9pm. Had a look at booking another table in case more want to turn up, and we can't.

They'll be heaving.

The USA doesn’t need to use the strategy...or does it....

Changing the dosing has been actively discussed by US doctors since at least December. Here is one such discussion just recently.

However I repeat, without actual clinical data determining what the impacts are the US is unlikely to change strategy and if they did it would be in the form of a double blind randomized trial.

Weather forecast for us tomorrow is sunny, around 10c with a cold breeze from 1pm. Me and the missus are planning to have a couple of beers at our local, well wrapped up of course. Our village is mainly old gits and it will be too cold for most of them, so there shouldn't be any problem getting ourselves 1 of the outside tables. Just hope there's a few more like minded who venture out so we can have a natter. It's the company we've missed during lockdown more than anything else.

Tuesday will be a retail therapy day for the missus, just in the local town Falmouth and she's going to investigate the gents hairdressers for me. I look like Robert Peston on a bad day at the moment. ;)

Where's that from Pete?. That 7 day average is deffo wrong. The lowest it's been in the last 7 days is more than that. it's not that far out in fairness, but it will be much closer to the 3000 mark I would guess. Maybe around 2800.

As you can tell I've been following it closely lol

On the bottom of the charts....just Google Covid stats...

I can appreciate that the numbers may be slightly out, but the USA is about x5 the size of the U.K. but the current daily rates are x20+. Now that may be a difference in lockdowns, the timing of the infection cycle, or it may be partly down to the jabs in arms strategy, I only put it up for comparison.....

You're going to get a massive variance from state to state in the US Pete due to differences in their lockdown policies. I would guess that there will be some states similar to UK numbers where they have followed similar policies to us.

Our pub does not open until Friday, so I may venture to the competition in the next village to see how it goes, or just meet up with a few mates at our pub and drink bottled beer without any of the hassle....the weather will determine it....

The rise is very localized

Michigan is pretty much open as far as I know, certainly they have had indoor dining since early Feb and regukar schooling so if I were to speculate I’d put a lot of the difference down to lockdowns

However hard data would be really good which is the point I am making and that is so far absent.
