There has never been a year in which 51,000 died from the flu, the highest ever was 22,000 in 1 year, the average for the last 20 years has been 15,000 per year.

I really cant be arsed finding them again, but its ok, cos I know people will believe me.

Went round to my mate's for a bevvy in his garden earlier.

His Missus works in a school, admin stuff. She has to test twice a week at home using the lateral flow tests, he showed me how it's all done, results pretty much immediately - quite impressive tbf.

Know my cousin is testing her 12-year-old twice a week too.

Due to the people who are mainly transmitting have not had the vaccine.

We can cope with surges on positive tests, as long as they don't result in hospital admission surges.

As we open up we are most likely going to see an increase in cases, the proof will be whether we see an increase elsewhere, time will tell.

Those driving transmission are the ones not vaccinated. Well call me shocked.

Surely the fact deaths are still going down therefore suggests the vulnerable whom have had vaccination are by and large thus protected? Otherwise they'd not be declining nearly 20 percent per week?

We shouldn't be selling it to them, we should see it explained to them and then enforced upon them.

After all, it's not like we haven't had 126,000 people die in the last 12 months and the vast majority of people wouldn't 'get' the call to ride it out for another 2 months.

So it took four years for 150K people to die from the Flu but only just over one year for 126K people to die from Covid. Not really proving to us that this is nothing there matey.

Anyway Avril you will be back in the 'mall' in the not to distant future.
