How, exactly?
Raab: accusing the EU of "brinkmanship" and comparing the EU approach to corrupt failed states. Now the UK government are rowing back on their wording (the murderer last night for instance and his greed / capitalism statement re vaccine procurement) and having to beg for a blockade not to materialise. The upshot will be more vaccine going the EU's way.

Gone is the breast beating about vaccinations done v the EU countries and now they are winding their necks in.

Behave.

The EU Commission cocked up. They've acted like tossers. If our government were making some of the decisions the Commission and the likes of Macron and Merkel have been making, you'd be having a field day - and rightly so.

We need to ensure it's fair. If the EU have ordered vaccines that are getting made in the UK then the UK factories need to fulfil those obligations. If there's clauses in the contracts which are open to loopholes, then the people who signed the contracts or negotiated them need to be scrutinised.

The EU threatening blockades, and already blocking vaccine doses - many of which haven't been used due to some ludicrous comments and unfounded overcaution from certain member states - just costs lives, or runs the risk of costing lives.

Are the UK perfect? Absolutely not. But neither is that Commission and neither are some of the member states.

It’s quite something for the Eu to show themselves up as being incompetent and ridiculous, but to also by their petty vindictive actions show Boris up as the only statesman in Europe is some achievement......
