Dammit, you made me break my Twitter rule of not reading the replies. But rediscover your faith in society by looking at the data that says vaccine uptake is over 90% (although I expect that will drop somewhat as we move through the lower age ranges).

They have not stopped yet, they still want one vaccine exported from the UK, as 10 million have come into the UK from EU.

Issue is it's not just the anti-vaxxers in that thread.

Oh yeah, it’s a combo of anti-vaxxers and people unable to read and correctly parse a sentence, but I also suspect the venn diagram for those 2 groups is heavily overlapping.

Unfortunately some people don't realise that we are never getting the majority of our rights back. The 'roadmap' is just more control tactics. Imagine being happy that the government might allow you to see 5 people outdoors in a few weeks?

The country has changed forever. The recent crime bill is further evidence of this. The lockdown is not ending any time soon.

So fed up of being force fed that almost every YouTube video now. This pandemic has created so many annoying drive-up-the-wall phrases and advertising gimmicks, it’s driving me insane.

I'll start another one - we had Covidiots, those whose views were apparently ridiculous and who were seemingly killing people in their thousands. Now we've got Govidiots, those who STILL swallow every word issued by the Government, still believe in the fraudulent use of data and 'the science' (most of which is completely untested) - and are gullible enough to actually think that the 'Roadmap' timetable was ever going to be adhered to.

Won't read it because it will be everyone else's fault but UK (we) government. Won't be balanced, will take the entire pandemic response out of context and use the vaccine as a single issue to suit a conservative leaning agenda. Despite the wider issue of medicines rumbling on since early last year when we began export block known medicines that managed COVID.

Looks like summer travel is gone tbh.

It depends where, the popular countries will be out of it. Iceland and Norway will survive for sure as they’ve been brilliant at surpressing the virus.

Those are not EU countries either, and have their own regulatory bodies for vaccines. EU countries are mostly border linked too, allowing easy virus importing, with Iceland and Norway for example, they have sea around them and used that to their advantage, unlike this country who initially went for herd immunity and then locked down too late.

I’m confident it will end this year before August at least, this lockdown cannot keep going on and messing up our economy. If it goes on for too long, I won’t be able to live for much longer.

The crime bill is the only thing that will permanently change our country. Everything else will get back to how it used to, with a few exceptions.

I'm confident that we get to stage 3 of the 'roadmap' for summer. Stage 4 won't happen due to new variants across europe. Then we will be back into a full winter lockdown from October - April.

This is the cycle now and unfortunately we have to just get used to it as the Tory party has unlimited power and zero opposition.
