What has she said?

I saw the actual interview, more of a fireside chat really. Marr was musing when masks and SD might go away, and she remarked, when he tried to get to commit, that low level restrictions could possibly be around for a while. Like the medics have done throughout this, they rarely commit to any question.

I had absolutely no reaction or side effects at all. Just a sore muscle where the needle went in.
Hope you'll be the same.
Thanks mate I'm hoping that to. In work it's been about a 50 50 split between people feeling rough or not. Obviously 1 or 2 will take the opportunity to blag a sicky

There’s 5 million people furloughed, so that work isn’t continuing. Growth has collapsed. Consumer spending 14% down on previous year. The economy is knackered and the government are desperate to get it moving again.
Well it will have to get it going again in a different way.
Obsession with growth is unsustainable and will eventually cause the demise of the planet.
Don't ask me how, I'm not an economist.

That is what I meant by PR though, especially the first article which announces targets that are nearly all outside the lifetime of this parliament.

Meanwhile the £12 billion promised to be spent on green issues at some point is rather dwarfed by the actual spending in this parliament of £27 billion on new roads, the continued freezing of fuel duty, expanding Heathrow, and cutting back on electrification schemes on the railway (never mind expanding them across the country so that more people can use them as an alternative to cars).

I'm not just on about our government though.

They all need to do something.

If you're going to try and reset/rethink the way people think/work/live, then this pandemic is the only thing that has come along in the last 70 years which would do that.
