The kids want to go back.
They need to go back.

For the parents who haven’t blagged it and sent them in, those parents are desperate to get them back to proper learning having tried their best may I add.
We technically could have sent him in but we were able to manage. He has interrupted a fair few of my live lessons. His last one was that he was hot and needed an ice cream.

Definitely need to get the kids back in.

Secondary are struggling the most. Particularly the ones who should be sitting exams.

Jesus Christ, they are spacing things out so that if it does indeed go to an unmanageable level, they can delay/postpone stages.

So a full school open from tomorrow, check back in three weeks when Easter comes round, if infections/deaths haven’t risen significantly then there’ll be another two weeks of data before retail reopens fully.

They then continue so forth, 3 weeks after retail, check data, high rise and reclose shops, stay steady keep an eye on for the next 2 weeks before the next stage. By May the vaccine figures will have increased as those who had their first in December/January will have had seconds and they will be mid run of second shots for the Feb and March 1st timers as well as finishing the first shots for those that haven’t still had it

No mate, this is just a way to kill more people.......

I deffo could have used the key worker thing from the start, but I didn’t want to take the piss.

No, no, no. Did you see the interviews this morning? They are factoring in an increase in infections. That wont stop them moving on to the next phase of re-openings.

This isn't a measured gently as we go policy - it's one way from now on and regardless of uptick in infection levels.

Not great news is it - Europe is pretty slow to take up these vaccines and with some justification tbh, I mean the government have acknowledged 400 deaths of healthy adults so the chances of a reasonably healthy person actually dying look to be about - well 0.0000083%, I would rather take my chances with the tried and tested influenza jab, too bad its extinct.!

Were people getting into a frenzy in or around 2017 when 50k people died of the flu - it actually existed back then

The 'daily' covid updates look like political broadcasting messages at this stage even

Please feel free to not take the vaccine.

Meanwhile, once I've got mine I can act as a 5G Tower inside Goodison.

Public Health England estimated that over the 2017/18 flu season, there were around 22,000 deaths associated with flu in England. This was one of the highest flu death tolls in recent years, but is still significantly lower than the current death toll from Covid.

Nice try.

Come back with a clue next time tho.

Hospital figures - 124 deaths were announced today, down 81 on yesterday and down 69 on last Sunday. 90 deaths were in English hospitals, down 95 on yesterday and down 59 on last week. The 7 day rolling average falls to 230.71

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 82 deaths were announced today, down 76 on yesterday and down 62 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average falls to an even 236

For the 60 day cut off, 115 deaths were announced today, down 172 on yesterday and down 56 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 366.71

On the vaccines front, 23.3m vaccines have been given, 22.2m were first doses with 1.1m second doses. By country this breaks down at

Eng - 19.66m (18.88m first, 788k second)
Sco - 1.88m (1.76m first, 115k second)
Wal - 1.17m (995k first, 176k second)
NI - 625k (582k first, 42k second)

Perhaps but the people who died of the flu back then and died or have fallen ill of covid now - in 99.99% of cases they have underlying health issues or over 60.

Lockdowns are meaningless and do more trouble than you may think, and its not just my opinion its shared by doctors. But lets cripple the country and send it to Uganda levels of GDP.

Too many people are just brainwashed on covid at this stage, absolutely spaced out, a caller on a radio show weeks back was asking if mutants enter windows - this is what happens if the government and tabloids spoon feed covid 24/7 causing mass hysteria, that and the fact no other illness seems to exist right now. I was told of several people by a friend that died of covid, well the death certificate said so but they actually had nothing at all to do with it.

To be clear, I am not an anti vaxxer - My passport is fully supplemented with all my travel jabs, however I draw the line at having drugs that seems pretty pointless - why do I need unapproved jabs? I have a better chance of winning the lotto 3 weeks in succession than dying of covid - them vaccines are not tested enough, they are in many cases issued under a NDA and do not have FDA approval. The good old flu jab I think was about 2 or 3 decades in the making. Its why the take up EU nations are slow, at the current rate it will be years before everyone in the eurozone is vaccinated.

Looks like election results
