“Case by case” doesn’t seem a particularly workable approach, guess they are waiting for the US AZ trial results

Iirc the Pfizer vaccine trial for children is due in the summer so hopefully will begin ti roll out more jabs for at least teens by autumn

I'm not sure I did do that, Peter. It's mad how desperate you are to defend mistakes by the Tories. For a man so in love with the idea of war, you're very cowardly when it comes to questioning those you view as your superiors.

Our ‘Leaders’ did very little leading In the early days. Mistakes were made all over the shop and we just were not prepared for what was to follow. As a country we tried to balance freedoms with lockdowns and it was not successful. As a nation we have historical form for cocking things up at the beginning then doing some really good stuff and winning the day. This seems to be panning out similarly with early failures, and now a great vaccine effort. We are not out of this yet, but we will get there......

I mean, there’s some to agree with in here, the vaccine procurement and rollout is clearly a huge positive, but it’s not like the government made a couple of early missteps before then getting it all right - only last month, against all advice Johnson sent 3m kids into school to mix for one day just as infections were rampant.

Getting over the line with getting the population vaccinated is great, but let’s face it, vaccines aside, they’ve made a pigs ear out of a lot of decisions over the last year.
