Don’t answer if you don’t want to @Liam-EFC but did your arm proper swell up as well ?I got the Astrazeneca-Oxford vaccine on Saturday. It absolutely wiped me out, with the worst headache and fever i’ve ever had. Only now I’m starting to feel a bit ‘normal’. I’m in my 30’s with asthma and got an invite for it from my GP. My Dad in his 60’s had the same vaccine at the same time, and suffered no side effects.
My sister told me everyone in the Royal who wants it has had it and they have opened it up to family. That's back office staff too.so do I (though in that case that was because the centre had some left over and phoned around local NHS sites to see if they could get eligible staff to get it)
No swelling, just a little tender.Don’t answer if you don’t want to @Liam-EFC but did your arm proper swell up as well ?
No. Who did it?Do you have any idea who procured the UK's vaccine stockpile?
My mum had the az on Saturday and was floored by it too. Symptoms sound similar to what you describedI got the Astrazeneca-Oxford vaccine on Saturday. It's not by the score that matters: full vaccination of the elderly and vulnerable.I'm not trying to prove anything. I was simply sharing some positive information on how the vaccine rollout is going in the country that is currently miles ahead of everyone else. We knew it was effective in trials and now we are seeing those results playing out in the wider population. Unsurprisingly some positive news about the vaccine has got your back up as usual.
He only sees things in simplistic terms. Basically, if the UK is top of a table he'll hammer away at it - seeing it as a football league table that confirms that his nationalism is not misplaced (unless it's concerning most deaths per capita in the world...in which case he'll run a mile).Err no.
For instance symptomatic infection rate at 6 or 9 weeks after first jab for those that hadn’t had a booster would be really great data to have.
It would be good for the UK for confirmation that risk was within acceptable limits and globally to other countries that may be interested in following a similar strategy.
