Having sex qualifies as exercise, surely?I never said it was specifically stated. I said that the restrictions certain people are saying should be in place for the rest of this calendar year as a minimum would mean this to continually be the case.

'We are desperate for human contact': people breaking lockdown for sex
For nearly 12 months, single people have been unable to form new relationships. With their chances to start a family or find love slipping away, many are now ignoring the ruleswww.theguardian.com
So unless outdoor sex is legal (is it?) this is another example of people not thinking things through properly. Tbh, single people in general have been completely shafted (wa-hay) throughout this whole pandemic. If you can WFH, are middle class and have a family this whole thing is a very different experience- something I don’t think the politicians or SAGE have given much consideration to.
I’ll give you an example. My best friend lives with his parents. His partner lives alone. His parents have formed a bubble with his grandmother and his partner has formed a bubble with her own parents. Now correct me if I’m wrong, this means he is technically not allowed to see his partner? Now imagine the situation for so many people who are single or even worse single and live alone. And what little hope these people have of some normality and a chance to engage in some basic human socialisation and enjoyment in life this summer with the vaccination programme underway. And as always, the usual suspects with no actual insight into anything or how people actually function continually try to piss all over the bonfire with their own agenda. It’s tedious now. Everyone can see it and everyone has had enough of it.
Not sure you can link those 4 together on containment alone. What about size Vs population and or population densitySK, Taiwan, NZ, Australia, Vietnam - places that, via various means, effectively contained the virus and the result was vastly fewer restrictions on their citizens, far fewer deaths and far less economic damage.
How anyone can come out if this past year and not think containment is the answer here baffles me.
France looking to just give a single jab to those who have already had the virus and recovered.
Seems sensible that a single jab can act as a booster for people already with the anti-bodies.
Wales doing brilliantly with the vaccine roll out. 1 in 5 of the population have had a first dose.

My concern is most with the old and vulnerable. Allowing them a chance to live as normal a life as possible means that everyone else curb any excesses and take a vaccine.
Different national psycheJapan isn't a police state.
It has to be used to do that. Build back better and safer.

Yes. You might have noticed we are not living in normal times. So you want the old and vulnerable to live a normal life by restricting all those not classed as that?
