I’m too sexy for my mask.

Nailed on release now after this story.
110,000 dead - how isn't something like they did not immediately deserving of arrest, charge and imprisonment?

I'll tell you why: the ruling Tory Party are captives of a death cult* that would sacrifice a million people here in order to preserve their economy - the one that they and their mates get stinking rich from and others barely survive in.

*The Covid Recovery Group. Remember that name; they are destined for infamy.

Surprised to get emails for rescheduled gigs today.

Quite a few big ones planned for May ?

Seems a bit soon to me.

They want us all having had our first dose by end of June I've read online.

By then probably the majority of those over 70 / extremely vulnerable will have had both doses of the vaccine aswell.

I think by June things will be near enough back to normal.

Outside of their "membership", there is zero traction for what they espouse, in the HOC anyrate.

The huge donation of £9500 last year kinda sums them up.

don't think there's any chance of indoor events happening in the summer, earliest will be Autumn and that's being optimistic.

If they can get some smaller outdoor events on with limited capacity in the summer then there shouldn't be any reason not to, and perhaps seated gigs etc like in Australia last year.

There should definitely be ways to do it which are safe, but obviously a long way to go yet, as crap as it is. I really miss gigs.

Believe the data. There was'tt enough of it with the AZ one to license it. Not just in the EU but North America too.

There now is, because they've done more tests. It just needs to be peer-reviewed.

There isn't suddenly going to be a massive drop off from the age of 64 to 65 in efficacy, that's just common sense. And it is proven - in all ages - to prevent serious illness, which prevents hospitalisation, which prevents death and lowers the risk of the health care systems getting overwhelmed.

Also, we will - or should - have the same form of 'freedom' this summer as we did last summer. You'll have all of the vulnerable groups fully vaccinated by then, and I'd argue it's likely that every adult in the UK will have been offered their first dose by around mid-June, if the rate continues.

Had the biggest bust up with the ex. Mother of my eldest.

Shes getting a hairdresser round and basically forbidden my eldest from not getting his hair cut. Her fella is also going to his mates for a weekend.

Upon hearing I have had to tell my son I can't see him for a week or so.
I'm beyond annoyed. My eldest knows the score but feels he has to choose.

Silly cow.

I'm gonna report the hairdresser after this weekend though.

Baker has huge reach into the Tory rank and file; and Brady was until recently chairman of the 1922 Committee - the Tory backbenchers group in the Commons.

All Tory's have connections to local business groups like chambers of commerce, some have connections to corporate interests. That's a constituency that wants the economy open at all times and will use its leverage on MPs to get their way. Joihnson and the others in the Cabinet are split about opening up the econlomy again as cases are still high. The Covid Recovery Group are a steering committee for all those interests - inside and outside parliament.

Then let's wait for that.

That's how it works.
