They've been delivering kits for anti-body tests and actual tests since October.

Star Recruitment were the contractors doing it, and ironically then placed people on furlough.

Yes, its daft to do it (albeit they don't have any other way of doing it, because they've not put the effort in to creating a body that can do that).

U.K. vaccinations, Yesterday first jab 319K and 3K second. Total first jab 9,296K, total second jab 494K......

At the risk of repeating myself, that second dose number needs to be higher, both for today and in total - by this time four weeks ago (the first point at which the AZ jab could be used for a second dose, though bear in mind the first AZ vaccination was on 4th January so the vast majority will be Pfizer) there were 1.37 million who'd had the first jab; by this time three weeks ago (the 21 day ideal time for the Pfizer second dose) 2.29 million had their first.

Second dose = properly vaccinated; we want many more properly vaccinated people.

Loads of stuff the NHS send out to patients for home tests/samples are delivered by the standard distribution network. In other words, me.

That is true, but this needs to be (or at least should be) treated much more urgently - ie: you feel ill with what you think this is, you call the centre and whilst you are on the phone they send someone round your house to test you. Whilst the person is on the way they ask where you've been, who you've been speaking to and then send other people round to them to test. The tests are then taken away and done. If you or they need to isolate, the message goes out.

Just posting it through peoples doors unannounced (admittedly its been on the news) seems to mean that it isn't being taken that seriously, tbh.

Caught the back end of a BBC news report yesterday with regards to the way the death figures are calculated, think it's this " all deaths of anyone who have tested positive in the last 28 days" did anyone see it or did I get it wrong.
