Current Affairs Coronavirus Thread - Serious stuff !!!

I read the thread under this, how can asymptomatic people have significant damage to their lungs? I know quite a few people who have recovered with very little problems but that thread suggests 80% of covid carriers have damaged lungs?
No idea mate I’m not a doctor. Maybe the lungs can still function properly despite damage? You get people who smoke their whole lives and never develop illness with their lungs although they must be damaged. Maybe it’s something like that.
But that’s uneducated speculation on my part

Rather than trying to shut more things why don't the government try to make people stay home when they get a positive test? Only about 45% of people actually stay at home for the required period. I'd imagine thats more of an issue than pet shops.
Of course it is. I said the other day nothing non-essential has been open here in Wales since December 20th, and yet cases rocketed over Xmas & New Year, but I think numbers are now declining, thank god.

Woman over the road from me goes zipping off in her massive BMW about 6 times a day. Where to? Who knows. Visiting family probably, cos she definitely ain’t a key worker! As Bruce mentioned, traffic movement is deffo up on the first lockdown. Wtf can you do if people just will not stay at home when asked to?

Any chance of checking your neighbours Facebook and see if she`s mates with Stan Collymore and Phil Mitchell ?

If so, she`s off dogging in her Beemer.

The important thing though is that infections are coming down, and deaths will start to follow the infection trend. 4 million now have had a jab, with 450,000 having two jabs. The number of deaths is horrific and I sincerely hope that China is made to pay for all this......
