So I think is now officially passes the number of people in the UK who have been confirmed to have had COVID.

Obviously, there's probably a fair few million more people who have had it and it's not been confirmed, as they either didn't/couldn't get a test or were asymptomatic.

Still, a positive step.

The canals in Venice were stinking. May have been fish in them but too murky to see. Think a lot of people have reclaimed their cities for a small period of time. Cities like Venice, Barcelona, Dubrovnik may have lost millions in tourist revenue but have become nicer places to live for the locals. They get swamped by cruise ships. The air bnb market has killed local affordability also so landlords have had to allow locals to rent again and rent prices have dropped in a lot of places. Think there needs to be serious conversation about tourist revenue in these places post pandemic but things will likely return to the same ways.

Post pandemic I would say people will start spending money ticking off things in life they have been putting off doing but want to do.
Reality check for a fair few people I’d imagine.

I sit with my granddaughter throughout the school day and they do get lots to do, probably more than they would in class. I spend a lot of time uploading her work and further explaining work content. There is very little free time.....

That’s a concern of mine. My girls are 14 and 11 and their school do an amazing job through google classroom.

they have on-line registration at 8:45 then go through their daily timetable. They click on their subject teacher icon in google meet and either go into a live interactive lesson, work through set work or a combination of both.

their school day ends at 3:15 just like a normal day. The one thing they lack is physical exercise. They would do lots in a school day however when the only option for them at home is running, walking or cycling then they are not really interested.

they really miss and need team sports and interactive PE lessons with teachers and friends.

We clear a space in the front room for him.
Put mats down etc and then leave him alone to do it, so he doesn’t feel like a knobhead doing it in front of us.
Proper knackered himself out the other day as wel.

Lol. My 2 don’t do anything. Tried to get them doing burpees the other day. They just laughed at me.

They look like mullet and they happily eat slimey poo for tasty poo mud dwellers all day long in brackish waters. Probably lack of boat traffic not churning up the bottom. If you wanted eat to them, probably best kept alive in fresh running water for a few days to filter.
