Come on. What is the point in shutting down schools only to keep them open with probably at least half the amount of kids going in?

School is open = kids unless ill have to come in = kids will be in.

School open as a space for daycare = might get used, might not, it's a nice option.

Fair enough. As I've said, my friend's gf is a teacher and she was asked to come in. Maybe that'll change.

Makes sense, they probably shouldn't use the word daycare though as like you say your mates missus is called in to carry on teaching certain kids.
