Concluding with some guess work I would punt that the number of Covid hospitalisations will be considerably higher than the number of flu hospitalisations in a bad flu season.

Sure the great and good of Academia will catch up.

I would say flu cases are down, because most are 'a little bit more aware' social distancing etc.
And that Covid Mk I cases are higher because it's easier to catch...even if you're being 'a little more aware'
