Sore arm, that was it.
You get a sore arm with the Flu jab sometimes it depends on the nurse how she administers the jab i.e. if she goes into a muscle you get a dead arm for a few days .......no other side effects than that imo the people who claim they have all kinds of symptoms are psychosomatic...... with the flu jab as I have had it for ages since becoming Diabetic - a sore arm Yes -sometimes influenza NO...
I just heard your new nickname is fairy liquid you, as spend your life in so many bubbles - only joking, but that's the new nickname of people who flaunt the COVID-19 guidelines - better than a rude word I suppose like ...kheads......
If you look back the year how the public have behaved in the minority plus in the masses - the hot weather = the beaches crammed to the hilt - top people using excuses for eye test etc is it any wonder the virus has never dwindled plus a total mismanagement from the top over it - we have a small police force yet a paid army doing nothing to help them ....
Masks not need at the very beginning?
If you think back it's been an utter mess of poor administration from the scientist for the buffoons in Government .....

Let's hope they can roll out the vaccines in an organised manner as they ain't done much right as yet....... plus that the vaccines that they work......

They'll be getting the one that works too - the one that gives good levels of immunity - the Pfizer vaccine. The rest of our over 80s will be getting the Oxford vaccine...when they're called to attend...and probably 'kin miles away from their homes, many travelling on public transport

Can you get it done private? I would imagine a lot of these 'celebs' will have done that
Has your grandad asked his gp surgery? Think they will be contacting their elderly and vulnerable patients like him. Hope he gets it soon.
Probably but that dosent sit right with me when theres limited doses.

Yeah i called them myself, they dont know when they are getting the vaccine apparently.

I literally offered to drive him anywhere its available. He falls under Wigan Borough, seems to vary depending on where you live.

According to the tory vaccine minister( dont hold your breath) this morning, millions of doses are being delivered next week. May be worth ringing the surgery next week

Getting my flu jab later. First time. So dead arm it is then.

I can only speak for my missus dept and hospital ( Whiston ) but amongst her and her colleagues who are eligible, there’s been a 100% uptake.

The only fly in the ointment seems to be that non front line managers are getting it too, as they “ are deemed essential “ to keeping things running “
They are the ones looking busy with a clipboard in their hand ....... :D

Dont waste their time phoning them. They will already have a list of patients ready for when they get their supply. I get that its frustrating, but calling a surgery is literally the last thing they want you to do.
