That one is a bit odd as opening a window is more likely to push the air further in the room than out. As you say minimal time in any enclosed space is the sensible option.
You need two windows open at the same time. Get a through draught to change to change the air in the room frequently.
Not comfortable with the temp outside at 0°C, and it plays havoc with the heating bill.

And the answer is staring us in the face. Its absurd now.
Exactly. I said this five days ago. It came from a reliable source explaing the predictions that certain organisations were being used to plan for.

The projection that I was told today was that it could easily be 50,000+ within a fortnight if the new strains spread North and West across the capital.

We're now working towards 60,000 daily cases and there's no sign that it will be plateauing within the next seven days.

Virologist Prof John Moore from Cornell University in the US, said British officials “seem to have abandoned science completely now and are just trying to guess their way out of a mess”.

The US infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci also said on Friday that he did he not agree with the UK’s approach of delaying the second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. He told CNN that the US would not be following in the UK’s footsteps and would follow Pfizer and BioNTech’s guidance to administer the second dose of its vaccine three weeks after the first.

But....

India has approved the Covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University,

....and I was questioned about using the description Banana Republic about this place.

Absolutely, but then its been staring us in the face since early April. This government either are serially incapable of learning even the slightest lesson from this, or they are doing it deliberately.

57,725 new cases reported today and you can only see this continuing to increase over the next week or two. We were looking at 40,000 a week ago!

You also have to factor in loads got tests to see if they had it at Xmas and loads have before return to work on the 4th.

Probably picked up the asymptomatic ones it wouldn't before

As things stand our best hope of getting out of this mess is the Oxford vaccine. Hopefully, others will come online that doesn't require specialist cold chain infrastructure. Great news that the Oxford vaccine is now in distribution ;)

I’m waiting for the government to leave it until Sunday, before announcing that kids aren’t going back to school on Monday.
Absolute clowns.

Like most at this time of year, its easy to lose track of what day it is.

But thats tomorrow ffs! That is just a ridiculous time frame.
