Is anybody alright Jack at the moment?

Since when did this become us and them, surely everybody is suffering?

Or do we have to have suffer off to see who is suffering the most?
It’s not about who’s suffering the most at all.

But people need to have some perspective when they say certain things, is all, about shutting everything down etc.

Most people know that, some act like anyone is an idiot for having other concerns
Let’s play health top trumps.

Seriously though, the answer is the vaccine.

I know some have had it, myself included but the government seriously needs to ramp up its effort.

The sooner the majority have had it, the sooner the prospect of lockdowns (shudder) disappear.

As much as I hate our government, we’re leading the way atm in terms of getting the vaccine out. That’s a good thing. It obviously needs to continue

I’m classed as a key worker, but my job involves me travelling to tier 4 areas to work on a daily basis. Makes no sense to me.

Her indoors and myself are both 84. We both have some underlying ailment. We have heard absolutely nothing about a vaccination. A mate of mine and his wife, who live 9 miles away had the first injection 3 weeks ago and are having the second this week. I contacted my GP surgery and they said they are waiting to hear what is happening .

I believe the government should be supporting everybody VASTLY more than they are, they arent doing enough.

Its nothing to these tits to pay everybody and lockdown, that's what I think should be happening.

But given the choice of saving lives, I think that's the choice we should make and for me, rightly or wrongly, that means locking everything down, cos quite frankly I don't see any other way of saving lives.

Life will go on, unless your dead, people can recover from poor economy, once your dead, your dead.

Absolutely this. And employers should be doing much more to help their work forces. Some will be of course but many don’t care.

It is frustrating to see the likes of Amazon grow significantly whilst small businesses fail across the UK. I get that side of the economy argument as it creates more wealth inequality and a lot of the small businesses will never come back.

We may be first but it’s nowhere near fast as we’d like.

Right now the known known is that lockdowns will reduce the spread of the virus. This will help our health service greatly and it will save lives.

The unknown known is how much damage the measures we take will do in the future. I don’t think it’s crazy however to say that people will die because of these measures through a variety of reasons. Some people already have.

Whole thing is just really depressing tbh.

I haven't used Amazon in years, sadly, one click and have something the next day is just a lifestyle now.

I was talking to a mate, who is fairly normal, and he couldn't believe I had to wait three days to arrive from a website, like it was madness.
