Yet... as a respiratory infection I can't imagine there is much Human to fish transmission.

Of course the government are ultimately responsible but in March, Vallance was insisting the numbers showed that there'd be a peak in June. Within two days they'd realised how wrong they were, but even at the time plenty of people in here / elsewhere were saying it was blindingly obvious that the initial peak would come sooner (and it did, 4 weeks later to be exact).
I understand the plan was to draw it out, but it was a ludicrous plan, and the CMO will surely have gone into that news conference on March 12th knowing that?

Mrs B safely home from her early morning shopping trip.
She did very well, our larder is now fully stocked for Christmas!
Bully is just contemplating when to get stuck into the game pie... I think I’ll wait till lunch.
Mrs B said the supermarkets were fairly quiet but she timed it just right at 6am. So long as I pace myself she reckons we should be ok food and drink wise until New Year!
Plenty of Andrex to help clean up the waste too!
