Hospital figures - 422 deaths were announced today, up 25 on yesterday and up 35 on last Saturday. 339 deaths were in English hospitals, up 22 on yesterday and up 25 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 345.43

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 534 deaths were announced today, up 45 on yesterday and up 14 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 435.57

For the 60 day cut off, 621 deaths were announced today, up 35 on yesterday and up 22 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 503.71
 
Who even cares.

You're right in the grand scheme of things but people would have made plans and now be more depressed than ever because of that hope that was swiftly taken away (Not Everton fans of course as we are used to it).

The government totally screwed it up with the lockdown that never was and could have given everyone a chance of a decent Christmas if they weren't so bloody half-hearted about everthing.

I guess mate, I had a quiet Christmas planned anyway, normally there's a Boxing Day meet up but that was cancelled a long time ago.

I do pity the people that listen to Bungling Boris tho.

Again, I'm not some plantpot that ignores all safety advice, but the day I put my families life in the hands of a serial killer like Johnson is a day that will never come.
