It's not the whole story as the report stated (I left that part out). Over and above more testing there's an underlying upward trend.
I did say it was a concern David.

Sadly my daughter has now changed her mind about taking the vaccine. It seems as tho she listens to bellends on Facebook over me.

If I had 1 wish, it would be to be left in a room with all the deniers. With a hammer and blowtorch.

Ha Ha Ha.

Germany’s lockdown strategy has failed. Germany has plunged into a crisis.

Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf says coronavirus approach 'has failed'. Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said he agreed with the king's remarks.

I’m sure I remember someone on here telling us these countries were the gold standard compared to our banana republic. What could possibly have gone wrong?

It gets better.

The Mall, the largest, and very popular out of town shopping centre near Bristol, is still in Tier 3. So anyone in most of Bristol, and every area around it, other than S Glos, have been told they shouldnt go there.

Sound.
It’s been open all the time. I went there (from a Tier 2 location) last week. Was not anything like it usually is this time of year.

SHUT EUROPE DOWN.

What has the english government done thats so great that other countries should follow them?
In fairness none of them have done very well in managing this virus. If they had any sense they would just have followed Westminster and blamed them for everything. But they don't, have gone on their own and made just as bad a fist of it as England, worse In Wales' case. And yes, the different restrictions have certainly confused matters more whilst adding nothing from a positive perspective.

An article in the Mirror is discussing a study by the University of Massachusetts. The study states that if you use a mask more than once the filtration reduces massively. A reused mask often has a 30% filtration efficiency which often results in similar performance to wearing no mask at all.

There should be some more information from the government on this. You have to be wearing a mask washed in an industrial washing machine at 90 degrees or a single use mask once. When you see people in the supermarket etc it is very obvious that these people are reusing masks.

One big finding from the study: the filtration efficiency of a three layer surgical mask varies from 65% when first used, down to use 25% on reuse.

Is there any way that supermarkets can check that these masks are clean prior to allowing entry into the building?

Wales hasn’t done a worse job of it than England has; no one in Europe has.
