Why is Wales (South) struggling to keep it under control Kurt?
The Welsh government have been the most stringent throughout the pandemic, yet Wales seems to currently have the worst rates of infection.

What’s gone wrong?
No idea.... possibly a larger student population ? Larger cities such as Cardiff and Swansea are in the south ? I’ve no real Idea to be honest

The Welsh are more tactile when together and as South Park said poor people tend to live in clusters*. Or more importantly in this instance tend not to follow the rules in the same way.

*I say that as someone who was born and lived in South Wales.

Who’d have thought it, Drakeford is now outdoing Boris for incompetence. Too afraid to tell his south walian power base some hard truths. Should impose a 9pm curfew on those areas.

As Merseyside infection rate is now very low should the Liverpool area be moved to Tier 1. Would anyone know the difference? Does it mean wet pubs would be open? Anything else?

Been reading some government advice and scientific articles on masks today and the manhandling, over touching and mis wearing of them is leaving me worried.
Im sure its been addressed but I cant help thinking that an unsymptomatic person or people are likely to be touching the infected mask then touching other things, in shops for example, and this is increasing or at least continuing the transmission of the virus.
If anyone with more science knowledge than me can debunk this it would be great but it makes sense to me.

It does mean wet pubs would open again.

No chance that’s happening in any city until Christmas and New Year are out of the way though.

There’d be carnage lol

I agree. But I was in town the other days and was surprised to see quite a few pubs open. I didn't know so many pubs sold Toasties all day!

Makes perfect sense to me. I try not to worry. If I'm going to get it I will. In the meantime I will follow all the rules that they say and take my own precautions
