Here in Conwy county our cases have plummeted in the last 8 weeks , from 130-odd per 100,000 down to less than 20. Assorted family hugging morons in South Wales have caused this new decision to be forced on us.
It’s a disgrace that it’s not been targeted by area, as it is in England. Thanks for nothing Drakeford

Was thinking this. Close off the south Walians. Its not as if there's ever a great deal of movement between North and South even before this crisis. Mid-Wales provides a clear buffer.

I see that a booze ban has been put upon Wales.
No alcohol sales after 6pm and non at all in bars and restaurants.

the lockdown worked; the problem was that Wales opened whilst England was closed and so a lot of people came to shop and spread diseases. If Johnson had done what Drakeford did when he did it, neither country would be in the state it’s in

Oh I realise that, I’ve been critical of North Wales police not cracking down enough at the borders, but this is what devolution has brought us, confusion and finger pointing.

A 2 week lockdown hasn't worked anywhere.

The approach has to be either a full complete lockdown or everything open.

Sorry, but can you explain your reasoning to me, as I’m just not getting how the English are to blame for the fact that it’s all gone tits up in Wales again ?

Especially seeing as the English weren’t allowed into Wales other than for work etc during the “ firebreak “
