No but apparently you have to have a "substantial meal" with your pint..sod that for a game of soldiers
It’s exactly the same as it was before lockdown, buy a pub meal an drink away.

Its about 6 quid for a pub meal, if your complaining about that your better of sitting in your living room on your tod being miserable and not out there doing the rest of our heads in.

I'd never minimize the suffering people endure with that. However, the best thing anyone able to can do is to get themselves outdoors for a walk or get on a bike. I appreciate not everyone can, but most can. It's far more preferable than being in enclosed spaces in pubs or restaurants. I know there's the shouts for gyms to open, but I've never seen the obvioius correlation beyween gmy use and mental well being...its social, but I'm not sure why it is so much more beneficial than any other activity...and its nuts to be in a gym at the monet form a Covid19 perspective.
Turn it in mate

Happy that I’m going to be able to see all my nieces and nephews on Christmas Day

My big hope is that after next week, people don’t go freaking nuts shopping for the sake of shopping, just get what you actually need and if the store doesn’t have it, don’t take it out on the retail staff who are going to be massively stressed these next 2-3 weeks

Not complaining about the price mate, I usually visit pubs for a nice pint, occasionally will have something to eat.
I do sit in my living room but not "on my tod" I am sometimes a bit down but that's only due to the state of my health
(won't bore you with the details) as I am classed as vulnerable.
Namaste..

Even if places open I wont be going out too much - imagine getting symptoms just days before Christmas and needing to self isolate missing it.

You'll get the idiots who wont think that way though.

I also think a lot of people won`t be arsed, with the meal thing - totally stops you going to a few pubs, as you`d end up having to eat a meal in each and end up stuffed and unable to drink lol

Unless the boozers start doing a bowl of chile for a quid etc.

So if Boris said it was not allowed to see them you wouldn’t?

It’s been that way for most of the year, I’ve only really seen my older niece because me and my mum are in my sister’s social bubble. I’ve only seen my youngest nephew 2 maybe 3 times in person since he was born nearly 8 months ago, same with my other nephew and niece
