Hospital figures - 380 deaths were announced today (good god), up 143 on yesterday and up 131 on last Wednesday. 302 deaths were in English hospitals, up 77 on yesterday and up 128 on last week with 296 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average rises to 238.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 492 deaths were announced today (Jesus), up 95 on yesterday and up 182 on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 295.29

For the 60 day cut off, 510 deaths were announced today (double Jesus), up 96 on yesterday and up 194 on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 305.86

Hopefully mate, we can't get to a point where we just give up and say "hey your over 85 so we can't help". We've all got to play our part to help each other out and try and keep everyone ticking along as best we can, old or young.

My son lives in independent living. The company who run the home,and quite a few other projects, have only had two members of staff test positive since the outbreak in March. Tbf, they have done well with all procedures/protocols etc. The two members of staff happen to be in my sons project so I took him out for two weeks, low and behold I think he caught it. It’s difficult to control the virus with staff turnover and the company use a lot of ‘bank’ staff but I will credit them for how well they have tried to restrict it.

It was the customers who did it and credit to them tbh. One lady brought in a load of food which was delicious and put on every table and the others then ordered loads of Chinese food....I love our customers.....

Could you encourage your customers to come to my city and give some delicious goodies to those who really need them?
