Add to that, the new work support scheme only kicks in if the staff are working at least 20% of their normal hours.

How can you work 20% of your hours if there`s no customers / work ??????

This will apply across the board in the whole hospitality industry.

It’s not good mate, I know a a few people who depend on work within the hospitality industry and they’ve been through enough stress this year through all the uncertainty, some have been physically ill because of it all. Surely they will introduce a temporary furlough scheme now as this job retention scheme is pretty much void for them.
