Time and place mate - put yourself in the same position and I doubt you’d have been particularly happy with a similar comment. And having known it did offend someone who was already in pain, even if that was not your intention, surely kinder to just apologize and move on?
Or you say "Im sorry, sadly I am very immature for my age and I apologise for anybody who I offended with my very ill timed "joke""Too far gone now for that, MG. I’ll just keep my public enemy number one status.

Fine, just remember, you had ample chance to make things go another way.Rich.
I alluded to nothing. I just sensed a bit of tension and reached out.Absolutely fine pal.
Just learn about stuff before you bestow your wisdom about them,
Miles away from the "murderers" stuff I apologised for. Which I guess you are alluding to.
What would your estimate be on supermarket infections,I think its huge. That can be better organised, and click and collect and home delivery can be expanded.
Schools can be shut and colleges too. Restaurants according to a report today accounted for between 8% to 17% of all infections during the EOTHO period. They are all drivers of the virus. Shut them down for a period.
Not that difficult to do if you value human life.
I'd imagine it to be low. It's indoor, but well regulated in terms of distancing and protective wear and hand sanitiser, and people dont usually spend hours in them. What would your estimate be on supermarket infections,I think its huge.

No because unlike pubs, restaurants etc theres no test and trace and the numbers of people going for food seven days a week in huge numbers is highly significant.Social distancing 2 metres or whatever is virtually impossible in busy supermarkets. The social distancing put in place for pub/restaurants is far superior on tier 3 than supermarkets.Hence I think it's a major factor in spreading the virus.I'd imagine it to be low. Unless it's a large part of 'workforce' I cant see it showing up in the figures. Have you seen any specific figures on it?
The thing is though, great or smaller contributors to transmission, one is essential and the other is a luxury.
