No. The bubble (class or year group) are sent home where there’s a case, and the rest stay open. Or that’s how my wife explained it.

You won't be coming out of Tier 3 until the number of people in hospitals at least stabilises, but it's more likely you'll be in Tier 3 until they start to fall.

They send that bubble home for 2 weeks and keep going until they end up with too many bubbles off and send the whole year home.

It’s the best of a bad situation.

Every year in my lads senior school has had to send bubbles home, where as in my younger lads junior school they haven’t had to send a single kid home ( yet )

Cases were going down in most parts of the Liverpool City region ( all bar St Helens ? ) before you went into Tier 3

Your having a laugh, closed for cleaning... Said child will be sent home and asked to isolate. Any child who have been in contact will be asked to isolate, however, no test unless there are symptoms which makes no sense as it's known to be asymptomatic in children, anyone else in that household siblings guardians etc, are allowed to go about their business as normal, unless...

Slowing down, but not enough to offset the rapid rise in older preople getting hospitalised. The hospitals are cancelling a lot of non-covid treatment.

In short: it's dire here.
