Unless you are getting stuff for a growing child (and not being forward thinking) then clothes aren’t essential in that sense. It’s fine to assume everyone has clothing for the seasons. Vast majority of clothes shopping is want not need and you can always order online can’t you.
You can also fashion clothes out of bin liners and potato sacks

I have a toddler and we think about his clothes in advance based on size. They grow fast but not that fast mate. Feel your reaching. Its teo weeks not two months right?

Again people who need clothes can look now see what they have and their needs and get them before the shops clothes. Seems pretty easy.
I work in care sector ,,, we take in kids literally off the streets with nothing but the clothes on their back... sometimes ( and I admit it’s not always) it’s an absolute necessity

The NHS has effectively ceased and is now Virus Management Service (VMS). The question should be why is it necessary to do this?

We can go back to this again, even the short window of calm in summer seems little has been learnt.

I’m sorry but that top part is bollocks.

The majority of hospitals are currently performing routine surgeries and doing their best to clear the backlog from lockdown.

The amount of pants that are regularly wet on the Everton forum I assume some people go through 2 or 3 pairs of pants a day.
That’s not safe to assume, I work alongside the NHS for Local Authority, I can often work many hours past my contracted hours 9-5 hours, the only way this is recognised is through time owing which has to be taken within the calendar month or its void so effectively become volunteer lots. I know it’s the same for my direct NHS colleagues. Do you need some pants? I have plenty, ill wash them like!

They are now in some cases ,however, they are way behind on many elective operations, and people will be and are left hobbling round on knackered hips etc. Also, the delay in diagnostics testing the consequence of late diagnosis's will take years to to fully play out. There is no sugar coating NHS, it's been ground and winded down beyond bare minimum.

Do a lot of NHS staff cry arse on GOT about us not having an out and out striker on the bench? Blocking the site on NHS machines would boost productivity 6000% it seems!

when is this nighmare of a thing going to be killed once and for all? I miss my pre-March 2020 life dearly. Wish I didnt complain that much and travelled more.
