You should apply the rules from the area you live.

If in a tier 3 area, observe the restrictions in that area no matter where you are.
Not saying you shouldn't but please explain how it makes sense. It doesn't and makes them look like idiots because they kicked up a fuss about going into tier 3 so they gave them something back. Like I said earlier, is virus not about in gyms in Lancashire and only in Merseyside? Not that I give one about the gym by the way.

Lockdowns cause much more problems. Whether you like it or not, the economy is very important and the effects of poverty will kill more people than the virus itself.
Please unpack that statement and support it.

Also, it'd be a political decision to pauperise a workforce in a health crisis.

Do you realise the effects on mental health a lockdown will also have?

Mental health for some can suffer. I'm sure, though, that mental health could for some improve if they dont have financial worries and they were properly furloughed.

...but any more on poverty....?

Saving lives is the key. Dont lockdown we KNOW what will happen. We've had the dry run last spring.

Hospital figures - 151 deaths were announced today, up 69 on yesterday and up 56 on last Tuesday. 134 deaths were in English hospitals, up 58 on yesterday and up 47 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 103.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 241 deaths (:() were announced today, up 161 on yesterday and up 98 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 135.57

For the 60 day cut off, 256 (:() deaths were announced today, up 173 on yesterday and up 108 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 142.29

No gyms in Merseyside, yet gyms are open in Lancs.

No kids play places in Lancs, yet open in Merseyside.

Work that one out lol
It’s almost like the government are steering the virus right through the country and they’re controlling the path of it.

Have you seen this government? Do you really think they’re going to support people through a full lockdown of the country?

How ironic.

Mental health can suffer for some lol

Even if it led to increased deaths from people isolated away from everyone else, lost their job with no means to pay rent or even eat and there is nothing they can do about it.
