There isn’t really any such thing as “American regulations”. We have 50 different states, with 50 different sets of rules. From what I can gather, this happened in Ohio, where they have a statewide mask mandate, but it most likely didn’t apply to this outdoor event. She probably wasn’t obligated to wear a mask even if it was the decent thing to do.

Ultimately however, it comes down to the sad state of things here in the US where words like “liberty” and “freedom” have become high minded verbiage for people to use when they are trying to rebrand their own selfishness. It’s the same rhetoric that gets thrown around because people aren’t comfortable actually saying out loud that they’d rather see other people’s children slaughtered at school like livestock than have to even consider giving up some of the assault rifles from their personal arsenal.

An attitude that abounds over here too.

At least here they'll all pipe down when the death toll starts to mount and they'd look like absolute scum on the streets when their fellow citizens are dying in droves.

By the way, the same heroes would be cowards hiding behind their couches if the demographic was different with this virus and the threat it poses.

I left the telly on after the West Ham game & came back to wrestling. Not my cup of tea but thier work around for getting a crowd in is pretty impressive. Rows of screens where the seats usually are with fans on video calls. Not just a big screen but there is depth & rows. It's on right now on BT 1. Worth a look.
