The games are still going on, which is infinitely better than them not. Just feels a bit weird that the sky appears to be falling in because we've got to work from home when we can, we can't go to the pub past 10pm and the footie won't have any test events with fans for a bit longer

come on Bruce, it's much worse than that

millions face employment uncertainty - myself included, and I haven't known where my next penny was coming from for four of the last six months. Just jumped on my bike like I know, but it's a year of people's lives completely gone, and what's worse is the government just seem to pin it all on the population

Most of it doesn't really effect me in recent times so nothing for me to be angry about.

Just bothers me I can't see anyone but can do anything else other than see friends/family even with precautions. Literally can walk through crowds of people in town, go out drinking etc , but can't sit the other end of my mum's living room again in fear of killing us both.

Makes no sense really , it never really does.
Sense or not mate, if the measures go some way to making sure your mum’s still here in 6 months then.........

One of my greatest pleasures is watching my grandson play footie on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but now I can't do that because they are only allowing 1 parent to attend. So I can't stand in the middle of a feckin big field with no one within 20yards of me but can go to the pub, madness.

If it`s any consolation mate, it`s only advisory, as my lads footy team have just had this out on their Whatsapp group.

What you can`t do 100% is go to somewhere like Goals / any fiveaside pitch and watch from the sidelines.

Hospital figures - 30 deaths were announced today, 20 up on yesterday and 16 up on last Tuesday. 28 deaths were in English hospitals, up 18 on yesterday and up 14 on last week with 26 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average rises to 18.29

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 37 deaths were announced today, up 26 on yesterday and up 10 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to an even 23

There has been no data announced for the 60 day and legacy cut offs as yet

Reading the message I got doesn't mention advisory, in fact it says," the powers that be gave us little time to put safety measures in place ( they are putting track & trace into place ) so it seems to me they had no choice but to implement the 1 parent 1 child rule.
