I’m responding to the comments you’ve made. If you don’t like it that’s not my fault, you said it.
As I said to Roy above, if you are telling me I am wrong then you assume (much like you to me) you are speaking for everyone in the country as well.

Unless you know for a fact that everyone would grass each other up and there isn't a remote chance that some people wouldnt.

Then this is arguing with me for the sake of doing so.

No I don’t.

You’re implying the “working class” are some homogenous group that all feel the same on this issue.

I’m saying it’s nonsense to state that as you can’t prove it either way. I think people make their own decisions and to label anybody’s thoughts automatically based on their upbringing or income is naive.

It could well be that every working class person has the same opinion, the point is nobody knows, including you.

Where have I said this?

In fact, what part of the rest of that utter wham you've written do you think actually applies to people?

By and large the issue is, where there are people completely disregarding public health guidance, they shouldn't. That isn't community spirit, it's selfishness. It's got nothing to do with politics or working class/middle class.

Aye wham.

Always wham when people disagree isn't it.

Ahh well , clearly you all speak for the country because there is no way I am right in saying it so what really is the point?

Even the remote chance that i may be right in what I'm saying is just wham isn't it. Everyone is going to be grassing everyone else up apparantly and not a single person wouldn't think of doing it.

Thats not speaking for everyone though is it boss? Thats not me saying everyone in Liverpool , that's me saying I know Liverpool.

Not quite the same as speaking for everyone unless you assume that is what I mean lol

The funny thing is, by telling me I'm wrong, it's then speaking for everyone on the country to say I'm wrong , which ironically is what you are telling me that I'm doing?

Unless you think everyone in the country would be happy to grass on each other, then what I'm saying is right?

Well "I know Liverpool" infers you know what everyone in Liverpool would or wouldnt do.

But I do get that Liverpool does have a strong social fabric. I just dont get the Class thing. Folk are either decent or not. Being rich, poor, or middling doesnt really come into it.

You’re arguing a position nobody has taken.

So why argue about it?

You even say there they may. It's a pointless argument you are creating over something you aren't even sure about yourself.

So if you aren't sure then how you can be so sure that everyone will be on the phone to the police ?

Because that's the thing , you know some people won't be grassing on each other as a matter of principle. Which is what I have said, yet argue anyway.

I don't think the majority of people will grass, but to suggest a whole region wont is a stretch to be honest mate.

I think if we "want" Christmas, we probably need to lockdown.

Personally.

If we continue our current path, Christmas will be the least of peoples worries.

Soz for negative.
You say that but in peak deaths period in april or whenever it was people was more worried about chilling sefton park so im sure they would still enjoy xmas

This isn't half as clever as you think it is

You are making statements when you know absolutely nothing about people, you know nothing about me but are attributing a stereotype to me that doesn't exist.

I'll try it to demonstrate how ridiculous it is:

You wouldn't grass on anyone, so you wouldn't grass a paedophile then...interesting.

I'm not saying everyone , I'm talking about communities that very much do exist within the country itself.

I have no doubt there will be people on the phone but they won't be the same sorts of people who are grassing.

My neighbours had loads of people around their house almost daily during the lockdown.

It pissed me off, but not once did I consider grassing them up.

But I cant speak for everybody around here.

Oh LOL, I'm not a curtain twitcher either, I only knew cos they used to go in the back yard and I hear them through open windows!
