Not sure what you don't understand here tbh.

I haven't said it's unsafe. I said it's reasonable to ask questions seeing as it is being produced at a rate never seen before in medicine.

I believe it will be safe but I think that it's reasonable for people to have questions. I imagine there will be adequate answers to those questions however.

People aren't asking questions though, are they? They're presenting answers. Do you think the knobheads in Trafalgar Square were demanding more insight into the clinical trial process?

Flip it round then. If you see people you hold dear behaving in an irresponsible way, would you have a word with them or would you brush it under the carpet?

The thing is , at one point are we all meant to be the honourably citizens and just forget real life? All well and good people on here saying they will grass their neighbors up but for many, neighbors are family.

The majority of people will follow it anyway so not sure what the issue is.

Essentially for us working class, it's basically saying 'hey Barbara , I know you have been there for me and the family for the past 20 years but having someone round since your Ronnie died for company, I'm gonna ring the bizzies and get fined because the government told me to'.

It's actually amusing to see such a reaction. People grow up with their neighbors and to just turn them in so easily. That's not real life.

And we aren't talking house parties here , I'm talking about having someone round.
You don't have to grass them up if they follow the rules.

I don't mean this specifically to me, but why is it my job to call the police on a neighbor for having someone around?

Am I going to cure the pandemic by doing so?

Better question , do you really think people calling the police on each other is the right course of action during a nationwide pandemic? Logically?

It was quite a straightforward question I thought? I'll ask it again. If you see a neighbour who you claim to care for and therefore don't wish to grass them up to the authorities doing something that is harmful to their health, will you just brush it under the carpet or will you urge them not to?

“What do we want?”

“Double blind placebo trials which are thoroughly peer reviewed!”

“When do we want it ?”

“Now!”

I'd have a word if I saw them but wouldn't call the police on them no. Which is kinda a key point because from Tuesday I won't really be seeing them much , with the lockdown and all that.

Growing up in Liverpool all my life , you just don't grass on people. All well and good saying online but in the real world off the internet , noone will be calling the bizzies on each other.

If people don't call them for dealers in the area then they aren't going to do it for someone having a friend round.

Theres just some things you don't do.

You do realise that people do grass dealers up, right?

How else do you think the bizzies kick down doors?

Went down a rabbit hole last night reading about people who think the vaccine is a microchip from Bill Gates and the Illuminati to track everybodies movements.

These people totally ignoring that they are already getting tracked by the devices that they are using to post on.

There are people here who don't want to download the corona warn app because of data privacy concerns, whilst they're simultaneously messaging away on whatsapp, facebook and what have you

Police work?

I reckon there is about 4 dealers where I live at least. Still there after all these years.

Only stupid dealers get arrested.

I know 1 lad whos been doing it for 20 years or so, he's had his door booted in about 50 times, never once been stupid enough to get caught.

But the Police only know people are dealing cos somebody grasses.

If that was the case then how do the police ever get arrests? lol

They don't just sit around waiting for someone to ring up and let them know the fella next door is dealing. They will know far more about it than you or I would ever know.

It's not the lad next door they really want , it's the fella supplying them. Only reason your man would have his door kicked in is because he isn't bottom of the chain.
