Nurses and doctors and care home workers are going to be expected to put their lives on the line this winter to deal with Covid.

If people are selfish arseholes and decide to break the rules I don’t see the problem with others reporting it.

Who is going to pay them or remburse them when their businesses go under?

plus taxi drivers , delivery men , breweries (large and independent ) , cleaners , bar and waiting staff , food producers and suppliers and on and on .

i’m not suggesting that a scenario won’t occur where another local or even larger scale lockdown may be needed but to simply dismiss these people as ‘profiteers ‘ without a second thought for their livelihoods or those that rely on them seems remarkably arrogant. Another long term heavy duty lockdown and you’ll see a lot of these type of businesses go to the wall.
