LOL That hashtasg. Estonia is not messing about!
There will be around 50,000 ish cases in the UK now. The vast majority will go unreported because of the nature of the illness - barely affecting the young, or mild symptoms in many even up to age 60. And viral spread happens exponentially, not linearly.
The way it looks you'd be looking at 60% minimum IMO. 80% is a worst case scenario but isn't ludicrous.
Have you ever watched Jeremy Kyle ?????The lines at the supermarket are depressing but predictable given a void in leadership that flip flops policy within 24hrs. Supplies will not dry up and those supermarkets will be stocked full again tomorrow.
What doesn't help is advocating a policy of "herd immunity". You might as well propose snail eating to nullify Covids danger. It frightens people which then leads to panic.
Given clear, concise information the vast majority of folks would be responsible and sensible. That hasn't happened, however hard you try to spin it.
I think though we're seeing a change, as the gravity of the situation sinks in. Governments around the world are starting to do their utmost to tackle this threat. The main burden will lie with the individual whether it be self-isolation, cleanliness or just volunteering to help others.

Try not to worry mate. Are they able to just lock themselves down for a bit? Take the child out of school or nursery if she goes? I'm at a point where I don't know wether I should be calm or freaking out myself tbh. I'm not sure people in the UK quite get what's happening over here in Europe. I think you will be heading for lockdown soon. I am only guessing of courseI am worried. I'm worried about my 4 year old niece as she has had some issues in the past. Both of her parents are in groups that would be described as at risk as well. I'm very very worried about it all.
There is no way people over here have grasped the true extent of Spain and Italy yet. I am aware of the desperation there because of a few groups I am in on Whatsapp and Facebook. Many here believe everything will be fine as long as they have enough frozen pizzas to last a couple of weeks.Try not to worry mate. Are they able to just lock themselves down for a bit? I'd love to be able to offer you some reassurance but I can't.I don't think anyone on here can.We are all,in our own different ways going through something that we are alien to.We are all here to listen though.I have said earlier ..... pm anybody just to talk and get things off your chest if need beI am worried. Car crash tv mate.I haven't mate. Is it good?
With most tech companies here in Bay Area being told to work from home if job non essential and the hourly workers still paid even if can’t work remotely. Obviously still a lot of people that doesn’t cover but hopefully will make some reduction in at least speed of spread - provided everyone doesn’t spend hours in a Costco line for toilet roll instead. What are most people’s employers doing?
Rudolph Hess?I knew a German once. He looked like a dolphin.
